China News Service, August 21 (Xie Yiguan, a reporter from China-News Finance and Economics) A reporter from China-Singapore Finance and Economics learned from China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. Hamburg) departs from Xi'an International Port Station. Since the beginning of this year, the number of China-Europe trains has reached 10,000, which is 10,000 trains 10 days earlier than last year; this year, a total of 972,000 TEUs of goods have been sent, a year-on-year increase of 5%, and the comprehensive heavy container rate has reached 98.4% .

The person in charge of the freight department of China National Railway Group introduced that since the beginning of this year, China National Railway Group has actively promoted the high-quality development of China-Europe freight trains, built an all-weather, large-volume, green, low-carbon, smooth and safe international logistics channel, in order to maintain the stability of the international industrial chain and supply chain. The smooth and high-quality joint construction of the "Belt and Road" provides strong support.

The first is to strengthen international railway cooperation.

Make full use of the cooperation mechanism of the seven-country railway China-Europe freight train transportation joint working group, and strengthen cooperation with the railway departments of the countries along the line in terms of transportation organization, information sharing, equipment and infrastructure construction, etc., to improve the efficiency of international intermodal transportation.

Actively explore new transportation channels and routes. This year, new railway-sea combined transport routes from cities such as Xi'an and Chongqing to Constanta, Romania via the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea have been opened. Connect, promote the formation of a "smooth and efficient, multi-directional extension, sea and land interconnection" overseas channel network pattern.

The second is to improve the quality of transportation services.

Make good use of the capacity of each channel, rationally arrange the opening plan, make full use of the port handover capacity, expand the international full-service logistics business, increase the organization of return trains, and promote the balanced transportation of two-way supply of goods. This year, the ratio of return trains to outbound trains has reached 88%.

At the same time, vigorously promote the informatization and digital development of international intermodal transportation, relying on the 95306 "digital port" system, and jointly promote paperless customs clearance with the customs department, which greatly shortens the customs clearance time and improves the operation efficiency.

The third is to strengthen infrastructure construction.

Steady progress was made in the implementation of the expansion and reconstruction projects of ports and rear passages such as Alashankou, Horgos, Manzhouli, and Erlian. At the same time, we actively coordinated with overseas railways to simultaneously improve the infrastructure capacity, and achieved a steady improvement in the capacity of domestic and foreign passages.

Since the beginning of this year, the average daily traffic volume of the China-Europe freight trains in the west, middle and east passages has increased by 20.7%, 15.2% and 41.3% respectively compared with 2020 before the capacity expansion and reconstruction.

Fourth, strict epidemic prevention and control measures.

Strictly implement the general policy of "preventing imports from abroad and preventing rebound from within", efficiently coordinating epidemic prevention and control and the smooth operation of China-Europe trains. All railway port stations strictly implement closed-loop operation regulations such as "separation of people and goods, and segmented transportation", and implement the regulations on people and vehicles. The requirements of "four-person protection", material and environment, have minimized the impact of the epidemic on the transportation of China-Europe trains.

At present, the China Railway Express has laid out 82 operating routes, reaching 200 cities in 24 European countries, and gradually "connecting points into lines" and "weaving lines into a network". The transportation service network covers the whole of Europe, and the categories of goods transported involve clothing. There are 53 categories and more than 50,000 categories such as shoes and hats, automobiles and accessories, grain, and wood.
