Make full use of the cooperation mechanism of the seven-country railway China-Europe freight train transportation joint working group, and strengthen cooperation with the railway departments of the countries along the line in terms of transportation organization, information sharing, equipment and infrastructure construction, etc., to improve the efficiency of international intermodal transportation.

This year, new railway-sea combined transport routes from Xi'an, Chongqing and other cities to Constanta, Romania via the Black Sea and Caspian Sea were opened. The pattern of the overseas channel network that is extended and interconnected by sea and land".

Since the beginning of this year, the average daily traffic volume of China-Europe freight trains in the west, middle and east passages has increased by 20.7%, 15.2% and 41.3% respectively compared with 2020 before the capacity expansion and reconstruction.

  The person in charge emphasized that at present, the China-Europe Railway Express has laid out 82 operating routes, reaching 200 cities in 24 countries in Europe, and gradually "connecting points into lines" and "weaving lines into a network", and the transportation service network covers the whole of Europe. The categories of goods involve more than 50,000 categories in 53 categories, including clothes, shoes and hats, automobiles and accessories, grains, and wood.

The high-quality development of China-Europe freight trains has optimized the regional opening pattern, expanded economic and trade exchanges between China and Europe, deepened international capacity cooperation, accelerated the cross-border flow of factor resources, and injected strong impetus into the high-quality joint construction of the "Belt and Road".
