“In the current situation, a decision was made to use the Nord Stream 2 infrastructure located on the territory of our country to gasify the north-west of Russia,” the deputy minister said.

He noted that in this regard, if the German side purely hypothetically decides to commission this gas pipeline, then only one of its strings can be put into operation at this stage.

Earlier, the Deputy Chairman of the Free Democratic Party of Germany, Wolfgang Kubicki, supported the commissioning of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.
