“Payments in national currencies between the countries of the Union have reached about 75% of the total volume of transactions, and the use of the dollar has decreased to 21%,” Pankin is quoted by TASS.

According to him, the issue of increasing the share of national currencies in mutual settlements has been on the EAEU agenda from the very beginning.

Earlier, Chinese Ambassador to Russia Zhang Hanhui said that China plans to continue increasing settlements in national currencies in trade with the Russian side.
