"Notice on the Acceptance of the National Public Transport City Construction Demonstration Project" (Jiaoyun Letter [2021] No. 501) and other deployment arrangements, the Ministry of Transport accepted Anshan, Kunshan, Huzhou, Jinhua, Bengbu, Luoyang, Nanyang, Zhumadian, Xiangyang , Changde, Nanning, Sanya, Chengdu, Zigong, Luzhou, Chongqing Fuling District and other 16 city people's governments put forward the national public transport urban construction demonstration project acceptance application.
After evaluation by the technical team, on-site acceptance by the expert team, social publicity, special rectification and other procedures and a comprehensive review of rectification, 13 companies including Chengdu, Nanning, Anshan, Kunshan, Huzhou, Jinhua, Luoyang, Nanyang, Zhumadian, Xiangyang, Changde, Zigong, Luzhou, etc. The city has reached the expected goal of creating a national bus city and passed the acceptance.
The Ministry of Transport has decided to name 13 cities including Chengdu as demonstration cities for the construction of national public transport cities.

Zhangjiajie City and Meishan City have a large gap between the self-assessment and the establishment goal, and they do not meet the acceptance conditions. They voluntarily give up the qualification for the creation of the national public transportation urban construction demonstration project, and no longer apply for acceptance.
The Ministry of Transport has decided to cancel Zhangjiajie City and Meishan City's qualification for the creation of national public transport urban construction demonstration projects.
