The article pointed out that the original intention of moon cake packaging is to protect goods and facilitate transportation, but in recent years, some operators have taken advantage of consumers' comparison psychology to blindly pursue excessive luxury packaging. There are only a few small pieces of mooncakes, and some use mahogany or even gold and silver as packaging materials to raise the price of mooncakes and become one of the important sources of "sky-high" mooncakes.
These behaviors not only increase the burden on consumers, but also cause waste of resources and environmental pollution, and also contribute to the extravagant social atmosphere.
According to the "Announcement" and GB23350-2021 "Restriction of Excessive Packaging Requirements for Food and Cosmetics" National Standard No. 1 Amendment, the relevant departments will strictly investigate and deal with the excessive packaging of boxed mooncakes, including: whether the number of packaging layers exceeds 3 layers, the packaging Whether the ratio of cost to sales price meets the regulations, whether it uses precious metal and mahogany materials for packaging, whether the moon cake is mixed with other products, whether the necessary space factor of the commodity meets the regulations, etc.
Once a violation of the law is found, it will be investigated and punished according to law.
