Vedomosti: Russia has found buyers for all the coal that the EU refused

As specified in the material with reference to a review of experts from the Center for Energy Development, in July Russia was able to redirect all export volumes of coal from European countries that fell due to EU sanctions to China and India.

The embargo on the transportation of coal and other solid fossil fuels through the territory of the European Union and on their supply to the countries of the association from Russia came into force on August 10.

Associate Professor of the Department of Corporate Finance and Corporate Governance of the Financial University under the Government of Russia Andrey Gusev gave a forecast for global demand for coal.

In his opinion, it is likely that the record of 2013 will be updated, and coal consumption in the world will amount to more than 8 billion tons.
