  In July this year, the Yangtze River Delta Eco-Green Integrated Development Demonstration Zone Developer Alliance selected 12 members to join the alliance, expanding the number of alliance members to 53.

In August 2020, the Demonstration Zone Developer Alliance was established.

"Instead of attracting investment through traditional forms such as management committees or development companies, but through 'joining the alliance', enterprises, universities, research institutes and other units can come to the same platform and exhibit their strengths." The first batch of 12 developers of the Alliance Huang Jia, managing partner and Shanghai managing partner of PwC, one of the founding members, believes that the relatively decentralized mechanism of the demonstration zone is conducive to alliance members conducting business according to their own characteristics.

  In key areas such as scientific and technological interconnection, ecological and environmental protection, all regions and departments in the Yangtze River Delta work together to promote cooperation, promote the cross-regional flow of resources and elements, and solve cross-regional governance problems.

  In October 2020, the Ministry of Science and Technology approved and supported the construction of the Yangtze River Delta National Technology Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as the Yangtze River Delta National Innovation Center).

On June 3, 2021, the center was officially unveiled, and a series of reform measures were implemented one after another.

  In terms of innovation resources, the Yangtze River Delta National Innovation Center has established 4 overseas cooperation platforms, and established strategic cooperative relations with 72 foreign and 61 well-known domestic universities and R&D institutions, supporting the research results of domestic and foreign universities and institutes to the Yangtze River Delta. Regional implementation and transformation; on the R&D carrier side, there are 87 R&D carriers with first-class R&D platforms and technical talents in advanced manufacturing, new materials, biomedicine, information technology, energy and environmental protection and other fields, aiming at major national strategic needs and key industry commonality Technology, carry out technical research; on the industrial demand side, jointly build enterprise joint innovation centers with leading enterprises in the industry.   As of the end of May 2022, the Yangtze River Delta scientific and technological resource sharing service platform jointly built by Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui has gathered 23 major scientific research infrastructures, more than 40,000 sets (sets) of large-scale scientific instruments, 315 national-level scientific research bases, science and technology There are more than 200,000 talents, 2,429 service institutions, more than 15,700 service projects, and more than 1.6 million domestic and foreign standards.   In terms of ecological and environmental protection, the two provinces and one city of Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang have strengthened and deepened the joint river and lake chief system, established an information sharing platform for comprehensive water environment management in the Taihu Lake Basin, formulated special plans for joint protection of key transboundary water bodies, coordinated control of lake cyanobacteria pollution, and developed Taihu Lake. The pilot project of dredging and solidification was carried out, the restoration of ecological wetlands around Taihu Lake was accelerated, and the construction of demonstration zones for the treatment and utilization of organic wastes in urban and rural areas around Taihu Lake was steadily advanced.

In 2021, the total nitrogen and total phosphorus concentration indicators in Taihu Lake will be the best levels in the past 10 years.

Infrastructure interconnection, convenient and fast public services

  With the accelerated interconnection of various infrastructures, public services have become more convenient and efficient, and cities in the Yangtze River Delta are getting closer and closer.

By the end of 2021, the operating mileage of the Yangtze River Delta high-speed railway will exceed 6,500 kilometers.

At present, the construction of the Shanghai-Suhu Railway, the second phase of the Hutong Railway, the Ninghuai Railway, and the Hexin High-speed Railway has been accelerated.

On July 13, the construction of the Shanghai-Sujia Intercity Railway started. The railway starts from Shanghai Hongqiao Business District in the east, reaches Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province in the south, and reaches Wujiang District in Suzhou City in the west.

The construction of the west extension project of Shanghai Rail Transit Line 17 has started, and Suzhou Rail Transit Line S1 has achieved full access. After completion, the Shanghai-Suzhou Rail Transit will be fully "handshake".

  The construction of new digital infrastructure is vigorous.

In the Yangtze River Delta region, the three major operators have invested more than 200 billion yuan in total, and built 382,000 5G base stations, accounting for 24.9% of the country's total.

The national top node (Shanghai) for industrial Internet identification analysis has been completed and put into operation. A total of 67 secondary nodes in the Yangtze River Delta region are connected, covering 84,000 enterprises in aerospace, medical equipment, new materials, construction machinery and other fields.

  "One-stop service" makes public services more warm.

At present, 138 government service matters are handled across provinces and cities in 41 cities in the Yangtze River Delta, and 30 types of high-frequency electronic licenses have been shared and recognized. Covering 41 cities in the Yangtze River Delta and more than 10,000 medical institutions, from the start of the pilot program in September 2018 to the end of June 2022, the cumulative direct settlement exceeded 9.4 million.

The Yangtze River Delta region is exploring a new "all-in-one card" model based on social security cards. As of the end of June 2022, the number of physical cardholders of social security cards in the Yangtze River Delta has reached about 240 million, and the number of electronic card holders is about 120 million.
