In July's employment data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on the 15th, there was an unusual change.

July is usually the season when the majority of graduates in China enter the labor market, and the unemployment rate tends to be higher than that in June of the same year.

In the past few years, except for 2020, it was the same in 2018, 2019, and 2021.

However, in July this year, the surveyed unemployment rate in China's cities and towns did not rise, but the statistic of 5.4% decreased by 0.1 percentage points from the previous month.

At a time when employment pressure has increased, why has this change occurred?
