According to data released by the General Administration of Customs, since RCEP came into effect on January 1 this year, the import and export between the mainland and RCEP member countries in the first seven months has increased by 7.5% year-on-year. RCEP has provided new momentum for regional economic recovery and development.

According to the simulation results of the "Assessment Report on the Impact of RCEP on Regional Economy" released by the Institute of International Trade and Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce, by 2035, RCEP will drive the cumulative incremental scale of regional exports and imports to US$857.1 billion and US$983.7 billion.
