The refinery accounts for more than 90% of gasoline, paraffin, diesel and heating oil applications in the Berlin-Brandenburg region, according to the company.
“Replacing even a part of Russian supplies will lead to underloading of the plant and a sharp increase in the cost of petroleum products,” RIA Novosti quotes a statement.
Rosneft emphasized that the shortage of energy resources is currently a serious threat to the consumer market in Germany.
