By managing to complete the 20.8 km of the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring in 7 min 33.35 s, Lars Kern, the Porsche Development driver, leaves the Tesla Model S Plaid 2 seconds behind him (7 min 35.579 s).
However, this kit consists "simply" of a software update of the Porsche 4D chassis control system.
The Taycan also fitted 21-inch Pirelli P Zero tires primarily designed for track driving.
That said, buyers can switch back to standard road tires without electronic adaptation at any time.

The Tequipment performance kit is currently only available in Germany and only for the 2023 Taycan Turbo S. It is expected that installation will be carried out after initial delivery, at the Porsche workshops in Zuffenhausen.
