On August 9, a press conference on the theme of "China's Ten Years, Hebei" was held in Shijiazhuang.
At the press conference, Ni Yuefeng, secretary of the Hebei Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, said that the Xiongan New Area has grown from "a blank piece of paper" to now that there are many tower cranes, and the "city of the future" is rising. There are 59 projects, and the investment of nearly 60 billion yuan has been completed so far. The "four vertical and three horizontal" expressways and the external backbone road network have been fully completed. The first batch of universities and hospitals to be relieved are being implemented in an orderly manner. China Huaneng and other central SOE headquarters have started construction, and a total of 110 central SOEs of various types have been registered.
