On August 9, the Hainan Provincial Housing Provident Fund Administration issued a notice, in order to give full play to the role of the housing provident fund system, and further relieve the units and employees who have made deposits in Hainan Province during the current round of epidemic prevention and control. Difficulties in lending, the housing provident fund phased support policy is hereby notified as follows:
1. From August 1, 2022 to the end of the current round of the epidemic, units affected by the epidemic do not need to apply for a deferral of housing provident funds, and after the epidemic is over, they will make up the payment of the housing provident fund that has been deferred during the epidemic prevention and control period.
After the epidemic is over, units that are unable to make up the housing provident fund that has been deferred during the epidemic prevention and control period need to apply for a deferral of housing provident fund payment in accordance with the normal procedures for deferred payment of housing provident fund.
The employee housing provident fund of the deferred payment unit shall be treated as the normal payment and deposit for withdrawal and loan business.
2. During the current round of epidemic prevention and control, if employees with housing provident fund loans are affected by the epidemic and cannot repay their loans normally, no overdue treatment will be made.
This notice will be implemented from the date of issuance, and the Hainan Provincial Housing Provident Fund Administration will notify the suspension time of this phased policy according to the epidemic situation.
