"Transportation of crude oil through the Druzhba pipeline has been suspended for several days, according to our information, due to the fact that there were technical problems on the part of banks in connection with the payment for transit by the Russian side," the company told RIA Novosti.

MOL also said that the company "has enough reserves for several weeks."

Earlier, the press secretary, adviser to the president of Transneft, Igor Dyomin, said that Ukrtransnafta had stopped the pumping of oil through the southern branch of the Druzhba oil pipeline system to Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

It is noted that the transit of oil along the northern branch of the Druzhba oil pipeline in the direction of Germany and Poland is proceeding normally.
