Morinaga Milk Industry, a major dairy manufacturer, has decided to raise the price of powdered cream used in home cheese and coffee from October this year due to soaring raw material prices.

According to the announcement, a total of 39 products, including cheese for home use, powdered milk cream for coffee, and food for childcare, will be subject to price increases and actual price increases that reduce the amount of content.



It will be revised from the shipment on October 1st, and it is said that the price increase will be about 4% to 12% in the suggested retail price.



The company explains that the prices of raw materials such as cheese imported from overseas are soaring due to increased global demand, and that logistics costs continue to rise.



Some household cheese products are entering this year, and will be the second price increase following April.



In addition to this, major dairy companies Megmilk Snow Brand and Meiji have also decided to raise the price or actually raise the price of margarine and cheese for home use from next month.
