When asked what the most difficult job is, complaints pour in that they can't find someone to work for.

[CEO of laundry service company: I don't want to do this kind of thing, because it's a 3D business.

Even if someone comes, if you teach them all three or four months, they go away, and that becomes a vicious cycle.]

[Seafood distribution company official: It's literally picking the stars in the sky.]

[Seafood distributor representative: It's been over a month since we advertised, but there's no phone call.

There is no phone itself.]

In this way, companies are trying to find people in their own way, but the number of jobs that the government cannot fill is 234,000, the highest in four years.

Basic manufacturing such as casting and molds and manufacturing such as shipbuilding had the most vacant jobs with 74,000, followed by wholesale and retail and lodging and food.

The solution the government has come up with is to increase the number of foreign workers entering the country again.

First of all, we plan to allow more than 63,000 people to enter the country by the end of the year, starting with about 63,000 people who were granted employment permits before the corona crisis, but did not come in.

In addition, it was decided to increase the employment quota of 6,000 foreigners in the manufacturing industry and 600 foreigners in the agriculture and fisheries industry, and remove the quota limit for welders and painters in the shipbuilding industry.

The government announced that it would prepare a preferential treatment plan for Korean workers by expanding the tomorrow Chaeum Deduction, which provides three times more subsidy with the company to the money saved by workers.
