The "House of Entrepreneurship", the national project of the Ministry of Economy, designed to bring about a shift in the entrepreneurship system in the UAE to a new and globally competitive level, launched the ScaleUp Digitize program in partnership with the global company Huawei.

A statement issued yesterday stated that the program aims to promote innovation and digital transformation for emerging enterprises and small and medium-sized companies in the country, and to develop its digital infrastructure by providing cloud computing products and services and technology, which contributes to accelerating their growth and transforming them into large and billion companies capable of competing in local markets. and global.

The new program is part of the initiatives of the platform to support fast-growing companies (ScaleUp), which is one of the three main tracks of the "House of Entrepreneurship" project.

The partnership comes within the framework of the UAE government's interest in the entrepreneurship sector as a major driver of transformation in the new economic model towards more sustainability, flexibility and future trends based on knowledge, innovation, technology and digitization.

The Ministry of Economy called on owners of small and medium enterprises to apply for the "Scale Up Digitize" program through the "Hometown of Entrepreneurship" website.

The ministry explained that the criteria for applying include that the applicants be from the owners of the already existing small and medium-sized companies, employing 10 or more people, and that generate revenues or have obtained funding at least once, as well as that the founding team possesses a passion for advanced cloud technology and artificial intelligence technologies, noting that Applications for the program will close on August 20.

The ministry added that 15 small and medium-sized companies will be selected from the total applicant companies during the first cycle of the program.

She stated that each company selected will receive Huawei cloud training vouchers amounting to 60,000 dirhams, in addition to the Huawei cloud voucher that can be used to purchase Huawei cloud computing services, cloud storage, cloud network and cloud database. As well as practical training on "Huawei Cloud Technology" and artificial intelligence techniques.

The program grants participating companies training vouchers for cloud computing with a value of up to 60,000 dirhams.
