One-off Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy II models will be created using 2012-2016 Defender models, stripped down and hand-rebuilt to exacting standards.

Under the hood, there is a 5-litre petrol V8 developing 405 hp and 515 Nm mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox.

Of course, the suspension, steering and braking will be improved accordingly.

Several body variants will be offered: 5 double cabin pick-up models (a first for a Trophy model), the remaining 20 will be divided equally between the 90 and 110 station wagon versions.

A series of exterior enhancements ensure excellent off-road performance.

Up front, a protective A-frame houses a winch in front of a bespoke front grille.

The black hood features a satin finish to reduce glare in bright light conditions, while a 1.27 meter LED light bar provides ultimate visibility in off-road conditions at night.

Inside, Recaro sport seats in black and white Windsor leather with contrast stitching combine support and comfort.

The leather extends to the dashboard, doors and headliner.

The infotainment system with integrated navigation and smartphone connectivity ensures that the latest multimedia options are housed in the authentic dashboard.

Rounding out the interior, a Land Rover Trophy dial made by English watchmaker Elliot Brown forms the centerpiece of the dashboard.

The Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy II 90, 110 and 110 Double Cab variants will be available to buy direct from Land Rover Classic, with a starting price of £225,000 for a 90 model in the UK.
