U.S. stocks surge as Fed hikes rates by 75 basis points

　　China News Service, July 28. On the 27th local time, the Federal Reserve announced another 75 basis points of interest rate hike, raising the interest rate to 2.25%-2.5%.

U.S. stocks closed sharply higher on Wednesday, the Dow rose 1.37%; the Nasdaq rose more than 4%; the S&P rose more than 2.6%, closing above 4,000 points for the first time in seven weeks.

Large technology stocks generally rose, Google rose more than 7%, Tesla, Meta, Microsoft rose more than 6%.
