For now, the Mini Aceman is only a concept prefiguring the brand's future electric urban crossover.

With it, Mini introduces a new stylistic language called Charismatic Simplicity made of simple but still immediately recognizable lines.

Originally, the customer can choose between several light signatures for the taillights, including the Union Jack, and several colors for the band that surrounds the grille.

The car will also be able to react with sound and light to the conditions encountered, for example when unlocking or when it is charging.

In fact, it is above all inside that simplicity will be in order, with a very minimalist dashboard, like that of the original model.

Here too, there is a special feature: a central OLED touch screen, a first in the automotive industry according to Mini.

The Aceman is relatively compact (4.05 m long).

On the other hand, it is quite high (1.59 m) and above all, very wide (1.99 m).

This should benefit the habitability.

Mini has yet to release any motor and battery information.

We can however imagine that the latter should offer a higher capacity than that of the current Cooper SE (32.6 kWh), which would benefit the autonomy, for the moment quite limited (234 km in mixed conditions and up to 313 km in town).

The Aceman was designed in Europe, but will be manufactured in China, at the new Zhangjiagang factory that Mini shares with Great Wall through a partnership.

The Mini Aceman concept will make its first public appearance on August 23 in Cologne, at the Gamescom 2022 exhibition dedicated to video games.

Its marketing will begin in 2024. It will replace both the Mini 5-door and the Clubman station wagon version.
