The launch of Korea's first lunar probe, Danuri, has been delayed.

The Ministry of Science and ICT announced today (28th) that US SpaceX, which is in charge of launching Danuri, has delayed the launch, saying that additional work is needed during the inspection of the launcher Falcon 9.

Therefore, the launch, which was scheduled for the 3rd of next month, was pushed back to August 5, two days later.

The Ministry of Science and Technology said that Space X is currently in the process of permitting the launch change at around 8:08 a.m. on August 5th.

Danuri is the first lunar probe made by Korea and plans to go into space next month on a SpaceX launch vehicle.
