A health center survey found that the franchise store of the restaurant chain "Osaka Ohsho" in Taihaku-ku, Sendai City had inappropriate hygiene management, such as keeping cats outside the store.

Inappropriate hygiene management was carried out at the "Sendai Nakada Store" in Taihaku-ku, Sendai City, which is a franchise store of the restaurant chain "Osaka Ohsho" that operates nationwide.

According to the company's announcement, this store had improper hygiene management, such as raising cats outside the store, from October to June 2019.

The company conducted a hygiene inspection by an external organization once a month, but said that it could not be grasped because the cat was moved to another place on the day of the inspection.

In addition, some of the ingredients were served outside the bunches, and even though the person in charge of food hygiene was replaced due to personnel changes, they were left as they were.

This problem was revealed in a survey by the Sendai City Health Center, which was triggered by an anonymous post on the Internet saying that "slugs are occurring in the kitchen."

No slugs or insects were found in this survey at the health center, but the company said that the store had reported that "insects had invaded from the outside during the humid season," and put a screen door at the doorway. It is said that measures such as provision will be provided.

"We apologize for the concern and inconvenience caused," said Osho Osaka. "We will hold study sessions for employees and reinforce and improve the rules of hygiene management."
