[Explanation] The 2022 National Information Consumption City Tour (Shanghai Station) and Shanghai Information Consumption Festival, jointly sponsored by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology and the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, officially kicked off on July 26.

As one of the highlights of the opening ceremony, the Metaverse@Shanghai exhibition area set up outside the venue is eye-catching with the Metaverse elements of the entire industry chain.

The exhibition area analyzes the "full chain" of Metaverse according to the link layer, interaction layer, computing layer, tool layer and ecological layer, and displays the product solutions of Shanghai Metaverse representative enterprises.

On the same day, many companies explained to reporters how to enter the Metaverse through actual products such as AR and VR.

[Concurrent] Liao Chunyuan, Co-founder, Chairman and CEO of Bright Wind (Shanghai) Information Technology Co., Ltd.

Our side is mainly AR, which is an entrance to the metaverse from the physical world. We also hope to talk about how to use AR technology to connect the physical and virtual worlds, especially how to use the virtual to strengthen the real and integrate wisdom into reality. This is what we think particularly important.

I think from this point of view, technology and industry are inseparable, and we also think that AR platform, its core is like an AR brain, in addition to the front terminal body, we must have a brain To drive it, through the brain to continuously deposit data and content, and constantly build barriers.

We are like the metaverse, starting with some vertical scenarios and ending up in one big metaverse.

[Concurrent period] Chen Ming, YVR COO, play out the dream group

The metaverse is not only reality, it is also a virtual world. In the future, the virtual world and the real world should be integrated and digital.

What do we think the metaverse is for a VR company like ours?

First of all, there must be a real virtual scene. This virtual scene is real enough and must be physical.

The second one we think is interaction, and its interaction is more in line with human interaction habits, rather than going through 2D points.

The third one we think is the character inside, the digital human (virtual human) that we are talking about now, has various images in it, which is relatively real.

That way we'll stay in the metaverse longer and feel real enough to each other.

In the final analysis, it is hoped that the scene of the entire metaverse will eventually achieve a natural interaction between people.

[Concurrent] Ren Pan, CEO of Xiaopai Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

What is the metaverse is actually very simple, the world you see in reality is exactly the same when you wear it in this device, you can see a world exactly the same as what you see with your own eyes, and you can walk freely at the same time. Hands can hold things, even drink water, smell (smell), that's our goal.

This 8K model has been sold very well in foreign countries. More than 80% of our income now comes from overseas, and now the market share of more than 1,000 US dollars is almost more than 80%.

What we can do is 4K for one eye and 8K for both eyes, and then 6 degrees of freedom positioning of the head and hand.

So we are very hard-core, and we feel that if this (metaverse) industry is to progress, there should be such realistic and close-to-real equipment.

[Explanation] Duanmu Haiying, Deputy Secretary-General of Shanghai Multimedia Industry Association / Director of the Extended Reality Committee (VAIA), said that Metaverse, as one of the important global industries in the future, is still in its infancy, and Shanghai has a profound industry in this field. Base.

[Concurrent] Duanmu Haiying, Deputy Secretary-General of Shanghai Multimedia Industry Association / Director of the Extended Reality Special Committee (VAIA)

The Metaverse itself is a very large track, and it has just begun to infancy. In fact, this is a very big opportunity for overtaking in a corner in China in terms of application innovation.

International statistics show that the entire metaverse industry will account for about 2.31% of GDP in the world after 10 years. This is very good news, and I believe that no government or enterprise will give up such a track.

In Shanghai, we have a very deep (foundation), we can see today from the link layer to the interaction layer to the final ecological layer, we have a very complete industrial ecology, so Shanghai, as a Chinese metaverse, should be said to be a city-level or He is a provincial-level leader. We (the Shanghai Municipal Government) are now releasing (the Metaverse Four-Year Action Plan), including the good corporate foundation of our Shanghai, which has the opportunity to lead the world.
