In this forum, Kuaishou co-founder Yang Yuanxi was invited to attend and gave a keynote speech on cross-border live e-commerce and digital economy.

  Yang Yuanxi said: "The digital economy has gradually become an important engine for economic growth. Under the overall pattern of the digital economy, live broadcast e-commerce companies represented by Kuaishou and others have used new models, new concepts and new formats of the digital economy to expand consumption.   It is reported that with the comprehensive improvement of China's trade strength, cross-border e-commerce has also enjoyed more favorable policies.

Eight departments including the Ministry of Finance have optimized and adjusted the list of cross-border e-commerce retail imports, which is conducive to promoting the healthy development of cross-border e-commerce formats and enriching the domestic market supply.

  As an emerging form of cross-border e-commerce, live broadcast e-commerce has also continued to grow in recent years. Relevant data show that the scale of live broadcast e-commerce in 2021 will be close to 2 trillion yuan.

  According to reports, Kuaishou, as the head enterprise of live broadcast e-commerce, has a total e-commerce transaction volume of 680 billion yuan in 2021. In terms of cross-border e-commerce, Kuaishou e-commerce mainly conducts cross-border e-commerce retail import business.

According to Yang Yuanxi, Kuaishou E-commerce will officially launch cross-border business in May 2021. The platform has given various support policies to help more than 100 merchants on the platform grow rapidly and enrich the variety of cross-border brand products on the platform.

Kuaishou cross-border e-commerce has established cooperative bonded warehouses across the country covering five major regions: North China, East China, South China, Central China, and Southwest China. At present, the platform has introduced nearly 1,000 branded products.

  Although cross-border e-commerce has achieved gratifying results in a favorable policy environment, it also faces many challenges in the face of opportunities.

Involving warehousing, logistics, payment, data and other aspects of global e-commerce infrastructure layout, such as cross-border e-commerce logistics with high efficiency and low cost, high payment and settlement costs, difficulties in returning goods, repairs and maintenance, obstacles to cross-border data flow and other specific problems .
