The per capita disposable income of 9 provinces exceeds the national level

According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in the first half of the year, the per capita disposable income of national residents was 18,463 yuan, a nominal increase of 4.7% year-on-year; a real increase of 3.0% after deducting price factors.

Disposable income of residents refers to the sum of residents' final consumption expenditures and savings, that is, residents' discretionary income, including both cash income and in-kind income.

Judging from the data of each province, the per capita disposable income of residents in the nine provinces of Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Tianjin, Guangdong, Fujian, Shandong, and Chongqing in the first half of the year exceeded the national level.

Beijing's per capita disposable income is the highest in the country

Data show that in the first half of the year, the per capita disposable income of residents in Beijing was 39,391 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.3%, approaching the 40,000 yuan mark, the highest in the country.

In the first half of the year, Beijing encountered a new round of epidemics. Why has residents' income increased steadily?

The Beijing Bureau of Statistics explained that due to the impact of the epidemic, the growth rate of residents' income in the first half of the year slowed down compared with the first quarter. However, due to Beijing's continued efforts to "six stability" and "six guarantees", various policies and measures have gradually come into play. Supporting residents' income has still achieved steady growth, and it is hard-won to achieve such results.

Among them, wage income continued to play the main engine role.

In the first half of the year, the per capita wage income of the city's residents increased by 3.8%, driving the income of residents to increase by 2.4 percentage points, which is the main driving force for the increase of residents' income. The measures to expand the post, strive to stabilize the source of residents' income, guarantee the payment of wages, and minimize the impact of the epidemic on residents' income.

  Following Beijing is Shanghai.

In the first half of the year, the per capita disposable income of residents in Shanghai was 38,996 yuan, down 3.4% from the same period of the previous year.

Regarding the reasons for the decline, the Shanghai Bureau of Statistics stated that, first, during the period of global static management, most enterprises stopped work and reduced production, and some enterprises suspended the payment of employee wages or adjusted to pay basic wages and living allowances.

Second, the epidemic has had a significant impact on service industries such as catering and entertainment, leisure tourism, and offline shopping, which have not yet fully recovered.

The proportion of service industries in our city is relatively high, and the decline in the income of these practitioners has a wider impact.

Third, the income of some people with flexible employment, including migrant workers, has been greatly affected by the epidemic.

Fourth, urban self-employment activities and agricultural production, operation and sales are restricted, and residents' operating income is greatly reduced.

Fifth, the epidemic situation in our city was stable and controllable last year, the social and economic development showed a stable and positive trend, and the residents' income increased rapidly and the base was relatively high.
