“The Bank of Russia has canceled the 30% limit on advance payments in favor of non-residents under import contracts for services, works, results of intellectual activity, which has been in effect since April of this year,” the statement says.

The Central Bank explained the decision by the need to support foreign economic activity, as well as create conditions for the creation of new supply chains for import supplies.

Earlier it was reported that the Bank of Russia suspends transfers abroad from bank and brokerage accounts of non-residents for six months - individuals from countries that support sanctions and do not work in Russia.

At the same time, it was decided to cancel the limit of 30% on advance payments for a number of contracts with non-residents for the provision of services, performance of work, transfer of information and results of intellectual activity.
