Lidl will soon market a new electric car in France.
The German chain had already recently offered a rental formula for the Nissan Leaf to enter this market, reports
Phonandroid
.
It is this time the Elaris Finn, manufactured and marketed in China since 2019, which will be offered.
It is a two-seater electric car, measuring 2.8 m in length.
The car is already available in some countries as a monthly subscription.
If in France you can buy a Citroën AMI at Darty, in Germany you can leave at Lidl at the wheel of an Elaris Finn!

Driver's license required
According to Lidl, the car has a 48 horsepower electric motor that can reach 115 km/h thanks to its weight of just 930 kg.
But unlike its first competitor, the Citroën Ami, this car does not fall into the category of microcars and therefore requires a driving license.
On the autonomy side, a 32 kWh battery allows it to drive 200 km.
A full recharge to 30 kW can be done in one hour.
On a conventional household outlet, it will take almost 5 hours to go from 5% to 100% battery.
Inside the car, a 12.3-inch touchscreen sits in the middle of the dashboard.
Another HD screen sits behind the steering wheel for driving information.
Air conditioning and LED lights complete the vehicle.
The Elaris Finn has already been available for a year in Germany with a monthly subscription of 222 euros,
Phonandroid
notes .
To buy the car, which will soon be available in France, you will have to pay around 20,330 euros.
An amount much higher than that of the Citroën Ami, announced at 7,390 euros.
