According to RIA Novosti with reference to the data of the Central Bank, the surplus of Russia's foreign trade in January-June 2022 increased by more than 2.6 times compared to the same period in 2021 and amounted to $158.4 billion.

At the same time, the surplus of Russia's balance of payments account in January-June 2022 increased by 3.5 times, to $138.5 billion.

Earlier, the Central Bank reported that Russia's international reserves as of July 1 amounted to $586.8 billion.
