"Particular attention was paid to the tasks of further intensifying economic cooperation, including measures to improve its legal framework, increase trade volumes and use national currencies in settlements, as well as continue uninterrupted supplies of Russian energy carriers," the Kremlin press service said.

Also earlier, the head of the Central Bank of Venezuela, Calixto Ortega Sanchez, announced the interest of Caracas in a full transition to settlements with Russia in national currencies.

According to Bloomberg, Russia has offered India to convert some of its trade into national currencies.
