With a capacity of more than 80,000 vehicles and a one-time storage capacity of 50,000 vehicles outside the port area, it will build the largest ro-ro logistics hub in South China and even in China.

  With the gradual release of the new capacity of the port area, Guangzhou Port is gradually growing into a major channel for automobiles to go to sea serving the Greater Bay Area and the surrounding hinterland and connecting the world.

In terms of foreign trade, Guangzhou Port has undertaken the important task of connecting China's overseas gateway hubs. In the first half of the year, foreign trade import and export business outperformed the market, and the market share of ro-ro medium-sized vehicles imported from the mainland expanded to 40%.

In terms of exports, since last year, K-LINE, NYK, Anji Shipping and other shipping companies have been introduced to open 7 additional foreign trade routes, further enhancing the layout of the ro-ro network in Europe, Southeast Asia and other regions, driving the group's commercial vehicle exports to exceed 100,000 units for the first time in the first half of the year. , of which 4,000 new energy vehicles were exported, and the ro-ro export cooperative brands were expanded to more than 30.

  In terms of vehicle collection and distribution, combined with the opening of the Nansha Port railway and the launching of ro-ro barges, Guangzhou Port Group designed multimodal transportation solutions for enterprises such as sea-rail and ro-ro barges.

According to statistics, in the first half of the year, there were 29,000 sea-rail combined transportation of commercial vehicles exported through Guangzhou Port, a year-on-year increase of 163.6%; since the trial operation in the second quarter, the ro-ro barge has operated 31 voyages accumulatively.
