Regarding home and commercial mayonnaise, Ajinomoto, a major food manufacturer, announced that it will raise prices again from this fall in response to soaring raw material prices.

According to this, Ajinomoto will raise the price of mayonnaise and mayonnaise type products, 8 for household use and 16 for commercial use.

In both cases, the target is from the delivery on October 1, and the main reason is the soaring prices of raw materials such as cooking oil.

The range of price increases is about 4% to 15% for household over-the-counter prices, and in the case of mayonnaise containing 400 grams of the main product, the price including tax is expected to be around 438 yen from the current 403 yen.

Also, the price increase for business use is about 6% to 12%.

This is the third time Ajinomoto has raised the price of mayonnaise for both home and business use since July last year.

A major food manufacturer has already announced that Kewpie will raise the price of mayonnaise from the shipment on October 1st.
