The Dubai College of Tourism, affiliated to the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai, represented by the Department of Localization of the Tourism Sector, announced that it will continue, in cooperation with the Dubai Entrepreneurship Academy, the educational arm of the Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development, to provide support and training to male and female citizens through the “Hospital Entrepreneurship” initiative.

In a statement, she revealed the participation of 15 entrepreneurs wishing to engage in self-employment and open their own projects in a training program currently organized by the initiative, for the second year in a row.


“Madeaf for Entrepreneurship”

The "Madeaf Entrepreneurship" initiative, which was launched in joint cooperation between the Department of Localization of the Tourism Sector at the College and the Dubai Academy for Entrepreneurship in June 2021, offers many activities and services that support the ideas of entrepreneurs to enable them to establish their own projects, which include induction programs for entrepreneurship. , as well as small and medium projects, specialized training programs, as well as technical, administrative and logistical support during the project establishment stages until its launch, and enabling them to obtain funding from the community by presenting their ideas on the Dubai Next platform, the first digital government platform for crowdfunding.

Maryam Al-Maaini, Director of the Department of Localization of the Tourism Sector at Dubai College of Tourism, said: “The (Hospital for Entrepreneurship) initiative continues its programs to qualify more entrepreneurs, enable them to establish and start their own projects, and provide a stimulating environment for them in the Emirate of Dubai to achieve success, as well as provide a competitive environment.
