“EU LNG imports rose 60% year-on-year to over 80 bcm in the first half of 2022, the highest level so far.
The United States supplied 75% of the additional LNG, strengthening its position as Europe's largest LNG supplier,” the International Energy Agency's Gas Market Quarterly Report says.
