37.8 billion dirhams, local stock gains in a week

The local financial markets witnessed a good performance during the sessions of the past week, despite their decline during yesterday's session, as the Dubai Financial Market rose by 0.66%, and the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange increased by 1.15%, compared to their closing on last Friday, June 24, 2022.

Local shares gained 37.8 billion dirhams during the week, bringing the total market value to 2 trillion and 505 billion dirhams, as the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange gained 37.24 billion dirhams to 1 trillion and 981 billion dirhams.

The Dubai Financial Market gained 563 million dirhams during the week, bringing the market value to 524.54 billion dirhams.

In detail, the Dubai Financial Market closed today, down 0.7% at the level of 3201.8 points, with transactions worth 149 million dirhams.

By closing at this level, the market would have increased by 1.05 points for this week as a whole, by 0.03% compared to its closing last Friday, June 24, 2022.

The market value of the Dubai Financial Market rose during the week from 523.98 billion dirhams to 524.543 billion dirhams, as the market gained 0.563 billion dirhams.

The «Amanat Holding» share increased by 9.18% to close at 0.92 dirhams, and the «Gulf Navigation» share rose by 4.92% to reach 0.26 dirhams, and the share of Union Properties increased by 4.55% to reach 0.26 dirhams, and the share of Emaar Properties rose by 2.36% to reach 5.08 dirhams.

Shares of Commercial Bank of Dubai rose 1.96% to 4.60 dirhams.

Dubai Islamic shares also rose 1.41% to 5.68 dirhams.

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange index fell today, Friday, by 0.3% at the level of 9,282 points, with transactions worth 1.1 billion dirhams.

By closing at this level, the market would have increased by 106.28 points for this week as a whole, and by 1.15% compared to its closing last Friday, June 24, 2022.

The market value increased by 37.24 billion dirhams, as the value of shares rose by (trillion) from 1,943.85, to 1,981.10 dirhams at the end of this week's sessions.

The share of Invictus Investments PLC - a public company limited by shares established in the Abu Dhabi Global Market - closed up by 23.33% at 4.97 dirhams, with trading of nearly 48.33 million shares.

It is noteworthy that this week is the first week for the company in the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, as it was listed for trading on Wednesday, 29 June, on the platform of the second market for private joint stock companies in the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange.

"Agthia Group" shares increased by 10.63% to close at 5.31 dirhams, with a transaction exceeding 10.95 million shares, and "Al Dar Properties" share increased by 2.24% at a price of 4.45 dirhams, with a transaction exceeding 61.13 million shares.

And «First Abu Dhabi» shares increased by 2.17% to reach 18.82 dirhams, with a transaction exceeding 61.5 million shares, and International Holding shares increased by 2.24% to 287.2 dirhams, with a traded amount of more than 5.91 million shares.
