By the end of May 2022, there were 159 million registered market entities nationwide, an increase of 3.6% over the end of 2021.
Among them, there were 50.119 million enterprises, an increase of 3.5%, 107 million individual industrial and commercial households, an increase of 3.7%, and 2.227 million farmers' professional cooperatives, an increase of 0.4%.
From January to May 2022, 11.514 million new market entities will be established nationwide, a year-on-year increase of 0.8%.
Among them, there were 8.057 million individual industrial and commercial households, an increase of 3.8%.
With the effective prevention and control of the epidemic and the continuous development of policy effects, the development of market entities will be strongly supported, providing a strong micro-foundation for the macroeconomic fundamentals.
