The three 4 CVs will be driven by exceptional crews.

Alain Serpaggi, winner of the performance index at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1969, and Géraldine Gaudy, journalist at Argus, will take turns at the wheel of a replica of a 1950 model. Julien Saunier, reigning winner of the Trophy Alpine, supported by Patrick Henry, WRC (World Rally Championship) driver, and the duo made up of Belgian driver Christian Chambord and his teammate Jean-Pierre Prévot, will drive two 4 CV replicas of those of 1951.

Within the confines of the historic circuit, Renault will set up an exhibition celebrating two icons of the brand: the Renault 4CV and Renault 5 (which is also celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2022), of which 9 versions of each will be exhibited.

In addition, more than 100 vehicles from private collectors will join the party in the Renault club area.

This edition of Le Mans Classic also marks the beginning of the collaboration between Renault and Artcurial.

On July 2, 8 exceptional lots will be offered for sale, offering collectors the opportunity to appropriate part of the Renault legend, and thus breathe new life into automotive treasures previously kept in the reserves of the Mark.

The first star in “The Renault Icons” section will be the 1983 Renault Formula 1 RE40-03 ex-Alain Prost.
