China News Service, June 30th, the Ministry of Commerce held a regular press conference on the 30th.

In response to the U.S. government’s introduction of a series of sanctions, involving several Chinese entities, Ministry of Commerce spokesperson Shu Jueting said at the meeting that China has noticed that the U.S. has recently imposed sanctions on Russia, Iran, and the military on the grounds of Sanctions against Chinese companies.

In the name of the so-called "maintenance of the international order," the U.S. practice is unilateral, protectionist, and bullying. It is a typical act of economic coercion, seriously undermining the international economic and trade order and trade rules, and seriously threatening the global industrial chain. The stability of the supply chain has seriously damaged the vital interests of companies in various countries, including those in China and the United States.

China firmly opposes this.

Shu Jueting stressed that the US should immediately correct its wrongdoing and stop sanctioning and suppressing Chinese companies.

China will take necessary measures to resolutely safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises and safeguard national sovereignty, security and development interests.

It is hoped that the US side will meet China halfway and do more things that are beneficial to the stability of the global industrial chain and supply chain and the recovery of the global economy.
