Original title: I, a blogger with flexible employment, earned a bottle of perfume of more than 2,000 yuan | 2022 employment season

Sino-Singapore Jingwei, June 30th (Niu Chaoge) It is the annual graduation season again. The 2022 graduates have left the campus. Some of them will continue their studies, and some are about to enter the workplace, starting another important stage in their lives.

Under the epidemic, the job search for this class of graduates is destined to be uneven, not only to face unexpected tests such as "cloud interviews" and "cloud internships", but also to face the postponement of job fairs and some exams, and the recruitment plan of supply-side employers. changes, etc.

How do these graduates successfully complete the "last mile" of entering the workplace and find a desired job?

Sino-Singapore Jingwei recently launched a series of reports on the "2022 Employment Season" to talk to graduates, listen to their job-hunting experiences, and hope to inspire graduates who are looking for jobs.

Chengdu girl Liu Ning (pseudonym) is a 2021 undergraduate majoring in labor relations from a university in Beijing. In the one year after graduation, she went to 4A advertising companies and brokerage companies, but she did not even get rid of her identity as a fresh graduate.

After tossing, she embarked on the road of full-time blogger, Mercedes-Benz, Helena, Converse, CK and other big names, all paid to appear in her social media.

The following is Liu Ning's self-report:

Speaking of my job search experience, it can be described as twists and turns, not quoting idioms, but really three twists and turns.

The first setback was the neglect of internship experience because of the study abroad program.

I had two internship experiences in Chengdu last year, one was as an academic assistant in an educational institution, and the other was as a manager in a music company.

"Academic teaching assistant" and "broker" sound great, but the actual work is "English tutor" and "nanny".

These two internships did not match my career plan.

Choosing these two internships is entirely to prepare for IELTS.

Academic teaching assistants are teaching assistants in English subjects, while brokers have relatively free occupations. When there are no performances, they can review at home, and they can also ask for leave at will if they have exam arrangements.

Although these two experiences are not very good in the resume, but fortunately, the IELTS score came out.

When I went to apply for a school with my IELTS score, not only did I not get an offer from a famous school, but I also encountered a second setback: my family was financially tight, and my study abroad plan was temporarily put on hold.

My father, mother and brother used to do real estate business in Beijing, and my grandmother and I were in Chengdu.

At the beginning of this year, my brother told me that this year's business is not very good, the family's economy is very tight, the family car is mortgaged, and the 20,000 yuan I saved in college was also borrowed by my father for household use.

Although my family said that they have left money for me to study abroad, I really can’t use the money that is already tight at home to study a “Shui Shuo” that is not ranked high, and I haven’t received a cost-effective offer, so I If you decide to get a job first, you should let go of studying abroad.

In March this year, I received an offer from a 4A advertising company in Beijing.

After I received the offer, I was overjoyed. I immediately bought a plane ticket and checked in for my cat, ready to reunite with my family in Beijing.

At this time, we also encountered the third twist, the epidemic.

On April 1st, I was hired by the company.

On April 5, the community found out that I had a history of living in Wuhou District, Chengdu (at that time, it was a medium-risk area) and asked me to isolate at home.

And I live with my family, and I have to be at home all the time.

After discussing with my family, I rushed back to Chengdu that night, leaving in such a hurry that I didn't even have time to check in for my cat.

On April 6th, the company resigned for me.

There was also a Qingming holiday during work, so I actually only worked for 2 days and did not pay social security.

Strictly speaking, I also retained the status of a fresh graduate.

After returning to Chengdu, I sent resumes to the sea again, but there was another wave of epidemics in Beijing, and most of the resumes I submitted went to waste.

After talking with friends, I decided to change my mind and try self-employment, such as being a blogger.

The blogger industry has no rigid requirements. It is enough to take pictures and retouch pictures, so a large number of people have poured in in recent years.

My appearance and retouching skills are not in the top 5% of the industry, so in order to receive advertisements, I began to "lick" the brand owner.

The first is free help, helping brands you know to choose bloggers, arrange execution, review manuscripts, arrange releases, supervise data, and close case reports...

This process is very tedious and boring, mainly dealing with Excel.

The last time I was in a hurry, I was still doing data summarization at one o'clock in the morning.

At that time, I was thinking, how can I still be reduced to working overtime to do Excel for the company even though I am self-employed.

And most bloggers work in the evening.

In order not to affect my own normal work and rest, I can only leave it alone, and when I run the next morning, I will use the iPad to put it together on the treadmill and watch it while running.

There are many disadvantages when free labor, but one advantage.

This advantage is also very attractive, that is, as a "staff", I have met many fellow bloggers and joined the "Chengdu Announcement" group of 500 people.

Secondly, I have to bite the bullet and drink afternoon tea with the "boss sister" of the brand side, spend a few hundred points on a table of desserts that are not delicious, and match the unfamiliar sisters, sometimes as if I was in a small era shooting location.

Although the process twists and turns, but fortunately the effect is good.

The process of receiving advertisements is generally that the merchants send the products to be placed, and the bloggers take pictures and post them on the social platform. If the value of the products is low, there will be additional notification fees.

If the product itself is expensive, the sample sent is the cost of this delivery.

In the first two months as a blogger, I received contribution fees and samples worth more than 5,000 yuan: a bottle of perfume worth more than 2,000 yuan, a bag of 900 yuan and a bunch of jewelry.

Strike while the iron is hot, and in mid-May I signed up for a new social media account.

The large number of fans is used to receive advertisements with high prices. Although the number of fans of the small size is not as good as that of the large size, it is possible to send advertisements that are not worthy of the large size.

After all, flies are meat no matter how small they are.

I am now taking orders for both large and small. If I like the samples, I will keep them, and if I don’t like them, I will hang them on the second-hand trading platform and trade them.

Since the blogger's career has improved, I basically haven't spent any money on clothing, jewelry, and cosmetics. Before, I spent at least 1,000 yuan per month on this.

In the short term, I plan to focus on the blogger's career, while brushing the IELTS score to prepare for the next wave of applications.

In the long run, if there is a better job offer, I will not refuse it, but as a blogger, I plan to keep doing it.
