Emirates Airlines: Summer bookings are higher than 2019 levels... and we are still receiving new employees

Emirates airline president Tim Clark said demand levels are strong and sustainable.

"We are looking at our bookings for July-September 2022 and Christmas, as they are well above 2019 levels," Clark added in an interview with Airline Ratings.

He continued, "By the end of the current fiscal year on March 31, 2023, we hope to conclude with profits and cash on the balance sheet."

Clark pointed to the strong demand for travel, saying: "We have prepared ourselves in Dubai and the airline for this, we have prepared our fleet, and we are still receiving new crews and employees, and all Dubai airport buildings were opened in October last year."
