The minimum wage for next year has been set at 9,620 won per hour.

5% higher than this year.

The amount was presented by government-appointed members of the public interest, but some members of the business and labor circles left the meeting with dissatisfaction.

The minimum wage for next year was finally decided at 9,620 won per hour.

In the past eight deliberations, the differences between the labor and management circles have gradually narrowed, but the gap has not been narrowed in the end.

In the end, public interest committee members came forward and proposed a 9,620 won, which is 5% higher than this year's minimum wage of 9,160 won, or 460 won.

This year's economic growth forecast of 2.7% and the inflation rate of 4.5% were added, and then the employment growth rate was subtracted by 2.2%.

However, ahead of the vote, four workers from the Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) left, saying the rate of increase was too low, and nine employers members, conversely, all left because they said the rate of increase was too high.

However, it is known that the employer member left immediately after the declaration of the vote and was abstained.

As a result, the remaining members entered a vote for and against, and 9,620 won, which was proposed as a single bill, was finally decided as the minimum wage for next year.
