Etihad Airways: 2.7 million passengers in 3 months

Etihad Airways announced that it is preparing, along with Abu Dhabi International Airport, to receive 2.7 million passengers during the summer months between June this year and next August, with the increasing demand for travel globally.


Etihad Airways said in a statement that it is expected to carry more than 1.4 million passengers through its network of destinations, including 330,000 domestic passengers, with more than 1,100 flights per week across the network.


And with the travel market recovering from the repercussions of the “Covid-19” pandemic, “Etihad Airways” witnessed a noticeable increase in reservations in the past few weeks.

He added: "With the approach of the summer vacation, and to receive this increasing number of travelers, (Etihad Airways) has strengthened its operations locally, and throughout its destination network, to ensure that our guests have a smooth travel experience, whether at the airport or on the flight."


And Etihad Airways reminded its customers of the necessity of completing travel procedures electronically, and using the “Mutmad to Travel” service, to submit travel documents related to “Covid 19”, for pre-approval, and to arrive at the airport early.
