Commission of the Cabinet of Ministers of Russia approved the transfer of the calculation of export duties on grain into rubles

This is stated by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.

“The subcommittee ... decided to adjust the formula for calculating the rates of export customs duties on grain crops, sunflower oil and sunflower meal.

The purpose of such an adjustment is to reduce the influence of exchange rates on the size of the export duty and convert its calculation into rubles.

As Deputy Minister of Economic Development Vladimir Ilyichev noted, the modernization of the damper mechanism for the export of agricultural products will help support Russian exports, while ensuring the stability of domestic prices.

In May, the head of the Constitutional Committee of the Federation Council Andrey Klishas spoke in favor of organizing the supply of grain and fertilizers for Russian rubles.
