According to the Japan Food Service Association, May sales of major restaurant chains nationwide increased by 20.4% from the same month of the previous year, marking the sixth straight month of positive sales.

Demand for eating out at family restaurants increased during the Golden Week holidays for the first time after the Korona-ka, and in reaction to the declaration of an emergency mainly in urban areas from last year, izakaya etc. The main factor is the large increase in sales.
