For his part, the Executive Director of the Planning and Public Budget Sector at the Department of Finance, Arif Abdul Rahman Ahli, said that the "Foras" program is concerned with qualifying young Emirati graduates with financial specializations, and helps put them with strength and confidence on the first path in their career path.

He added: “The Department of Finance has always been a pioneer in working to support Emiratisation initiatives, and today it is introducing the (Foras) program, to emphasize the importance of the government’s role in employing citizens, as well as the importance of integration between the government sector and the private sector in this field, and unifying national efforts to achieve Emiratisation goals. ».

"Opportunity" program

According to Dubai Finance, the "Foras" program lasts for 12 months, and is presented in two phases. The first is for four months, and includes training courses to ensure that participants acquire the knowledge, skills and behaviors required to perform the chosen job roles, and the second is for eight months, and includes work in one of the entities. governmental or private sponsored by the Department of Finance.

The trainee is given a monthly stipend, in addition to paid vacation.

The trainees are also subject to a development plan that suits each trainee, which includes theoretical and functional training on the job site.

The department pointed out that graduates wishing to participate in the "Foras" program can access the program's registration page on the department's website, to view the conditions, fill in the data, and attach a CV.

The Department of Finance in Dubai offers the “Foras” program, within the framework of the “Maliun” initiative that it launched 10 years ago, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Financial Policy in Dubai, and witnessed the graduation of hundreds of employees in various professional diploma programs Specialized courses in the government financial field since 2012.

The initiative aims to raise the financial awareness of government employees through courses supervised and run by a select group of expert government financial employees.
