Regarding the current industrial economic situation, the meeting believed that since May, the operation of the industrial economy has stabilized and rebounded.
However, the current external environment is still complex and changeable, the comprehensive recovery of domestic supply and demand is still constrained, the circulation of the industrial chain and supply chain is still blocked, and there are still many difficulties in the production and operation of enterprises.
The meeting emphasized that all regions should give a more prominent position to boosting the industrial economy.
On June 20 this week, Xin Guobin presided over a symposium of some industry associations, and heads of 8 industry associations including steel, building materials, petrochemicals, machinery, automobiles, ships, textiles, and electric power made exchange speeches.
The meeting called for summarizing experience in a timely manner, improving the working mechanism for stabilizing the industrial chain and supply chain under major emergencies, and guiding enterprises to improve various plans to deal with risks and challenges; pay attention to changes in market orders, commodity prices, and the supply of key parts and components As well as the situation of power factor guarantee, timely detection of emerging and trending problems.
At the expert symposium on the industrial and informatization economic situation in the first half of the year on June 17, the experts proposed to further understand the severity of the current economic situation; pay more attention to demand-side issues; and prevent the upstream and downstream profits of the manufacturing industry from being differentiated. The problem of insufficient endogenous investment momentum caused by the crisis; it is necessary to in-depth study and judge the risks brought about by the further intensification of the global economic stagflation and spillovers, and make relevant preparations in advance.
