In terms of the composition of domestic and foreign brands in the domestic mobile phone market, in May, domestic brand mobile phone shipments were 16.60 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 14.0%, accounting for 79.8% of the mobile phone shipments in the same period; 23 new models were launched, a year-on-year decrease of 8.0%, accounting for 79.8%. During the same period, 95.8% of the new mobile phone models were launched.
From January to May 2022, domestic brand mobile phone shipments totaled 90.677 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 30.6%, accounting for 83.8% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; a total of 160 new models were launched, a year-on-year decrease of 3.6%, accounting for the same period. 95.8% of the number of new models.
