Weeks of political instability in Israel and the key: the probable fall of the government.

The two men must first submit a dissolution bill to the Knesset for a vote next week.

This should lead to early legislative elections.

The legislative election must be organized within three months.

However, there is another possibility: that someone manages to form a new government during this period.

This someone is, of course, former Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.

Converted into

a leader of the opposition

, he was looking forward to this moment.

The man the Israelis call "Bibi" had sworn to return to power, and even to do everything possible to bring down the current government, the fruit of an unprecedented coalition.

This executive brings together parties from the right, center, left and even an Islamist party.

A unique hitch in the history of the Jewish state.

All these parties had come together with one common goal: to oust former Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu from power.

But after a year, they will not have been able to overcome their differences.

Under the coalition agreement, it is the current Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yair Lapid, who will take over and who will therefore replace the head of the outgoing government, Naftali Bennett.
