The car will be exported to the port of Lierque, Chile, marking the official opening of the new ro-ro route from Tianjin Port to South America, helping Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei car companies go overseas.

  The relevant person in charge of Tianjin Port Group introduced that as the largest automobile import and export port in northern China, Tianjin Port's foreign trade export models are mainly sedans and SUV models, and the demand for automobiles in South America and the Middle East is strong.

  In recent years, China's automobile manufacturing industry has developed rapidly, and its production capacity ranks first in the world. In 2021, the export volume will exceed 2 million vehicles, making it the third largest automobile exporter in the world.

In the first five months of this year, China's auto exports increased by 57.6% year-on-year.
