The rain cloud belt created by the rainy season front is approaching the southern seas of Jeju Island.

In Japan, starting with Okinawa last month, on the 14th, Osaka and Kyoto are all affected by the rainy season.

The rainy season front will gradually move north and will affect Korea from next week.

It is expected to start to rain on Jeju Island in the afternoon of next Monday and extend to the southern regions on Tuesday and Wednesday.

An approaching cyclone from southern China raises the rainy season front and pours rain on the southern regions.

In the second half of next week, rain was also forecast for the Chungcheong region due to showers and low pressure.

However, the Korea Meteorological Administration explained that it is difficult to predict how far the rainy season will extend across the country and when the metropolitan area will start because the movement path of the low pressure is uncertain.

The Korea Meteorological Administration said localized heavy rain is expected in Jeju Island and the southern coast, which are both affected by low pressure and the monsoon front, and urged people to prepare for rain damage such as soil runoff and flooding of agricultural land.

The rainy season in Korea is usually one month, and during this period, it rains for about 17 days, spraying 350mm of rain.
